Likewise, Learn Where You Must Not Keep Them!
Many people enjoy showing off their perfume bottles. Why not, then? The colours, forms, and accessories of the bottles typically turn them into miniature works of art. However, it appears that keeping your perfumes in your bedroom or bathroom may have some drawbacks. Where then should you store them?
The Prohibitions.
The bathroom is the worst location to store perfume. Right, surprising? This is brought on by the variations in humidity and temperature in that specific home space. Your bottled scents should last one to three years if you store them properly. Some even continue to smell after more than fifteen years. It's unfortunate that the restroom won't help your perfume linger that long. It will "age" more quickly and lose its aroma if you store it in a room with plenty of light and temperature fluctuations.
The Rules.
Where should I store my perfume then? They ought to be at a location with a cooler temperature. Approximately 18 Celsius (64 degrees Fahrenheit). The aroma will last longer if you store your perfume bottle in the tiny box it arrived in. Put your perfume in the refrigerator to extend its shelf life. Even two additional years of aroma may result from that! In order to prevent it from being too chilly, just make sure you keep it inside the door.Another method of keeping your bottles covered and cool is to wrap them in tin foil and store them in a cellar or dark cabinet. Just watch out for excessive humidity in your basement.
This may be terrible news for those who enjoy displaying their perfume bottles for decorative purposes. However, if you want your perfume to last, keep it out of the sun, out of the heat, and away from humidity. The bottles can always be put on display after they are emptied.
